The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in real LEGO parts: the brownstone cathedral in Providence, here in a warm reddish-brown with Tan string courses and trim under dark slate roofs. Two square towers stand either side of the front, crenellated, with gold clock dials on every face and tall louvred belfries; between them the rose window under its gable and gold cross, the triple doorway under its dark canopy, and wide steps with black rails down to the plaza. Down the side, buttressed walls with two tiers of windows and the transept with its own rose and cross; bare winter trees, flowering shrubs and an iron fence round it. Inside, a wedding: the bride on her father's arm halfway up the red carpet, the groom waiting at the sanctuary step, guests in the pews between green columns, the organ and choir in the gallery, Bishop Hendricken's tomb in the transept, and the bells and clock works up in the towers.
