Terms of sale and delivery

The short version: you see your design and its price before you pay anything; you pay by check once you have said yes; we order the bricks when it clears, and ship to you in the United States or Canada.

Last updated 5 October 2026.

Who we are

Voxeloom is a small workshop in Providence, Rhode Island, that designs keepsake sets of real places in genuine LEGO® bricks. Write to us at orders@voxeloom.com.

How an order works

  • You ask. Send photographs from the design studio or the Talk to us page. Asking is free, and needs no account.
  • We design it and send a quote: pictures of your model from every side, the piece count, and one total price, with shipping included.
  • You change what you like. The roof, the colours, a tree in the wrong place — until it looks like the place you know.
  • You say yes by replying to the email with your quote. Nothing is owed until you do.

Prices and payment

The price in your quote is the whole price: the design, every brick, the instructions, and shipping. LEGO's prices and stock change, so a quote holds for 30 days.

We take payment by check, made out to Voxeloom. The email with your price says where to send it. There is no deposit. We order your bricks from LEGO's Pick a Brick shop once the check has cleared, which usually takes a few working days, so allow for it if you have a date in mind.

Dates, and first come, first served

Every set is designed and checked with care, so we take on only as many as we can do well, in the order they arrive. If your gift must arrive by a certain date, tell us when you ask. A date is promised only once we have confirmed it to you in writing; if it is too soon, we will tell you straight away.

For Christmas, please ask by 20 November.

Shipping

We ship within the United States and Canada. The actual cost of shipping is in your quote, so the total you approve is the total you pay. For Canada, any customs duties and import taxes are charged by the carrier on delivery and are yours to pay. We send you tracking when your set leaves us.

If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery, with a photograph if it is damaged, and we will put it right.

Missing or damaged pieces

Every set is counted into numbered bags. If a piece is missing or broken, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will send a replacement, free.

Changes and cancelling

You can change your design, or walk away, at any time before you pay, at no cost. Once the bricks for your design have been ordered, the set is being made for you alone, so it cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund, except where the law says otherwise. Missing and damaged pieces are always ours to put right.

Built and boxed

If you would rather not build it, ask us to. We build the set and box it, ready to stand, and quote for that separately.

Gift certificates

A gift certificate gives the design and lets them choose the place. It can be for any amount from $200, paid by check like any order, and comes as a printed card we post or a certificate we email, as you prefer. It does not expire, it can be put toward any design, and it cannot be exchanged for cash except where the law requires. If one is lost, tell us; we keep a record of every certificate.

For estate agents, builders and other businesses

From the third set a business orders within twelve months, each set is 10% off. See For business.

The studio's pictures

The pictures the design studio draws are AI impressions, to give you a feel for a set. Your design is made by us from real LEGO® pieces, so its details will differ.

LEGO®

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this site or our sets. Every set is designed by us and built from genuine LEGO® bricks bought new from LEGO's Pick a Brick shop.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page on the day you said yes. These terms are governed by the laws of Rhode Island.
