The Stone Farmhouse

A two-story stone farmhouse in real LEGO parts: warm tan masonry with white quoins, sills and a stone arch, under low terracotta tile roofs with a tall chimney and black gutters. Dark brown shutters stand open at the upstairs windows, a vine in white flower climbs beside the arched glass doors, and lanterns light the lower wing that steps forward on the right. On the left a vine-covered pergola shades the supper table; in front, a gravel courtyard, a lawn with stepping stones, an olive tree, cypresses and a bed of lavender behind a low stone wall with its lamps. Inside, the kitchen with its range and island, the living room with a lit fireplace and the long table laid for supper, a wine store with barrels and a potting room; upstairs, the main bedroom, a bathroom and the children's room.
