Historic St. Luke’s Church in real LEGO parts: the stone Episcopal church in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, in gray masonry with Tan dressings under steep slate roofs. At the corner the square tower rises to its louvred belfry and a tall slate spire with small gabled lights; beside it the round baptistery under its own low roof, and behind them the long nave, with a lower aisle under a lean-to roof and its buttresses down the side. A path turns the corner of the lawn between low stone walls, lamp posts and tall bare trees in early bud. Inside, a christening: the rector at the stone font with the baby, the parents and godparents, parishioners in the oak pews, choristers in the chancel, the brass eagle lectern, the altar with its candles, the organist at the organ and a ringer at the bell rope in the tower.
