The Performing Arts Hall in real LEGO parts: a college's center for music, theater and dance. Five granite columns stand before warm yellow brick and two tall arched glass doorways, under a stone entablature and a square brick tower with a gray-shingled belvedere. A long wing with five gabled dormers runs off to one side and a big gabled wing to the other, with dark green window frames, globe lamps, young trees and red shrubs in front. Around back, the stage door, a loading dock and the parking lot. Inside, an evening of performances: a recital hall with a concert grand, a violinist and a cellist on stage before raked rows of listeners; a black-box theater mid-rehearsal under its lighting rig; a dance studio with its mirror wall, barre and dancers; practice rooms and a green room; and in the lobby the box office beside a glass case of relics from the college's first building. The roofs, the upper floors and the tower lift off to show the rooms.
